No more School!

Hooray! Our school is all done for the summer!  If you saw Chrissa's face when our teacher said no more school, you would have thought that her face would break in half from all that smiling.  To celebrate,  we went swimming Wednesday evening.
 Don't forget the sunscreen!
 Laying by the pool.
 Chrissa dived right in!
"Come on in, the water is just perfect!" Chrissa said, swimming up to the surface.
"Great!" I said.  We spent the rest of the evening swimming in the sky-blue water.
But good things can't last forever, so Chrissa and I had to get out...
 ... and go home.
Do you like to swim?  We sure do!

Decorating Our Table for Summer!

Hello lovely readers!  You all get a double post today.  This afternoon I decided to decorate our table for summer!  So, I picked some daises and put them in a old (cleaned-out) soda bottle.  Then I put on our pretty IKEA tablecloth.

What do you think?  Could this go for spring too?

Camping Disaster Part Two

Previously on Camping Disaster Part One...
"We must find her!" Elizabeth said with determination.
"She can't have gone far..."
Now Elizabeth will tell you the second part of the story.  Chrissa and I set out to look for Julie.  After we had walked a long way,
"I'm going to climb that tree." Chrissa said, "From there I can see the whole park."
"Be careful!" I warned.
"I know, I know."  Chrissa said as she started up the tree.  If I didn't know she was a gymnast, I would have been worried about her climbing the tallest tree on the campsite.  I was hedding back to the campsite to get a flashlight when Chrissa started yelling.
"ELIZABETH! ELIZABETH! I FOUND JULIE!"
That was a more welcoming sound than rain in a drought.  I ran as fast as I could to Chissa.  Turns out, Julie had fallen in a large hole.  Chrissa said that she found Julie because Julie was yelling at the top of her lungs
"HELP! SOMEBODY! I DON'T WANT TO DIE THIS WAY!!! AT LEST LET ME FINISH THIS ONE BIG TEST!!!!! I HAVE BEEN STUDYING!!!!!"

"Julie! We were worried sick!" Chrissa said when we got back to camp.  We all sat down around the fire.  Then Julie sprang up and picked up a vine and round it around her head like a head band.
"What do you think?" she asked.
"I think you look like a Roman emperor!" Chissa giggled.
"Oh." Julie said, looking like a deflated balloon.  She started tord the tent then, as if she changed her mind, turned around and
"Hey, um" she said, "I saw a really cool climbing tree down the path, do you want to climb it with me?"
"I thought you didn't like climbing tress." I said, a little surprised.
"Well no, but it would be fun with you guys!"she said.  So we did.

After that, we had a normal camping trip.  To see Julie's side of the story, click these: Camping part one

Camping Disaster Part One

Hello lovely viewers!  I'm going to tell you part one of our camping disaster, now that we have the pictures.  Taffy flew out Friday morning. (Thank goodness!)  On Saturday we flew up to Innerstar University to spend some time with Julie.  We arrived there at around noon, and Julie came to pick us up from the airport.  Then we all decided to go camping.  Let's just say that Julie isn't a happy camper....

"Ugh, why did we have to go camping!" She said when she stepped on some gunk.
"I am so glad we got to go in the lovely sunshine! Isn't this exciting?""  I exclaimed.
"Exciting? Yes. Lovely? NO!"  Julie said. "Lets just go back to my dorm!!!!"
"I am enjoying this, Julie!" Elizabeth said.  "Besides, it's good to get some fresh air."
Then Elizabeth went to check on Sugar(her dog) and I went to get some more logs for the fire.  When I got back, Julie was nowhere to be found.
"Elizabeth, where is Julie?" I asked.
"Wasn't she with you?"
"No," I said, " I thought she was here at the camp with you!"
"We must find her!" Elizabeth said with determination.
"She can't have gone far..."

Stay tuned for part two!

Wrap Twist

Hello!  Today I am going to show you all how to do a wrap twist!  Now for you that get the American Girl magazine, this may look or sound familiar.  Chissa and I did not come up with this style.  However, in the American Girl magazine it is for long-haired girls.  We did this post partly to show you that it can be achieved in short hair, and partly because I added my own "Twist" to it.
You will need:
  •  Water Mister
  • A hairband
  • A hairbrush
  • Bobby Pin(s)
Some of the following photos are from the May/June magazine.  They are the copyright of American Girl.
In our version, take a small strand from the side section and let it hang in front.

And there you have it!

We went to a Strawberry Patch!

Hello lovely readers! Over the weekend, we flew up to see Julie. But I left the SD card that held all the photos at her house. We should have it back by Thursday or earlier. If you just have to know what happened, check out Julie's blog here: Jlove. Today Elizabeth and I went to a strawberry patch. For me, spring doesn't start until we go strawberry picking. Although, in Florida, summer could be starting. We selected many fresh, juicy berries. Don't forget, I LOVE STRAWBERRIES!

There is only one letter needed to describe strawberries- Mmmmm!

After we had paid for the berries, we headed home to sample the crop we picked.
Yum, Yum! Have you ever gone strawberry picking?  If you haven't, you should .
