A Visit to American Girl Store Orlando!

Hello, lovely readers!  Last Thursday, we drove down to the Orlando American Girl Store and meet up with our cousins: Victoria, McKenna and Kit Brooks.
"IT'S THOSE PEOPLE!" Kit yelled when Mother dropped us off in front of the store.
"Kit-a-doodles!" Chrissa said happily.
"Chris!" Kit replied, squeezing my youngest sister in a hug.
"Good to see you again, Victoria." I smiled.
"Same to you, Elizabeth."
"This is so exciting!" Georgia and McKenna squealed in unison.  They looked at each other, and laughed.
Then Mother and Aunt Martha walked over.
After all the "hellos" and hugs were finished, Mother said, "Let's go inside, girls!"
(Note: To see any of the pictures larger, just click on the image.)
The first thing we saw when we walked in the door was all the historical displays.  It was interesting to see the changes on account of BeForever.
Here's two of the holiday dresses.  On the left is the Ruby Red Ballgown, priced at $50 (which is rather expensive, in my opinion), and the Happy Holiday Dress is on the right.  It was out of stock at the time, as you can see.
Most of my dresses are from American Girl, but it's still funny to see another girl wearing the same dress as me!
Ah, Samantha's Winter Coat - this is one of my favorites.  It's not especially practical in Florida, though.
"Kaya has the coolest tent!" Chrissa said.
"I bet if Elsa build a tent, her's would be cool too." McKenna joked. "Get it?  Cool?"
We laughed.

Julie looks a little shady in this picture.
Next, we moved on the the My American Girl section.  Below are pictures of the new-ish winter outfits.

"I wonder if any of those gifts actually have anything in them?" Georgia asked.
"Oh, they do." Kit replied confidently. "Boxes!"
"Brilliant, Kit." Chrissa laughed.
Kit flipped her short hair and said in a weird voice. "Thank you, darrrrrrling."

 What cute little pets!

Georgia tried on the Silver Shimmer Dress, but decided not to get it.
The other side of the store held a small section for the Girl of the Year, Isabelle.

After we made our purchases (which may have included some Christmas gifts), we stopped at the food court for lunch.  McKenna wanted to visit the Disney store, so we pecked in there too.
Then we drove to our cousin's house and spent the rest of the afternoon with them.
We drove home after dinner.
Where's your favorite place to shop?

The New Outfits from American Girl: What We Think (Three)

Hello, lovely readers!  When all the new American Girl releases came out on Thursday, Chrissa and I knew it was time for a post.
That's right!  Do you like the fabsome collage we made?
Okay, so the Sunny Isle Outfit didn't just come out, but it's still pretty new.  And I just love it!  This outfit is so fabulous!
Err ... this is not exactly my style.
I like the skirt, but the entire ensemble, again, is not something I would wear.
From the cute hair clips down to the shoes, this outfit is adorable!  I especially like the little glasses on Coconut. My wishlist is getting longer ...
I don't see how this outfit matches.  I mean, a purple hoodie with gray and blue pants?
Actually, I agree.
I have no comment.
At first glance, I liked this outfit.  But after a closer look, the School Stripes Dress didn't "strike my fancy".
The design of the Bright Stripes Outfit is nice, and that's about it.
It seems rather ... strange.
The Petals and Plaid PJ's are quite pretty, but would be even better with a skirt.
A skirt?  What the lime peels (a new expression of Chrissa's);  I love these!  The style, fabric, colors, everything!
Those pink boots are cute!  I'm not so charmed with the rest of the Sparkly Camp Outfit, though.
Err ... no comment.
Due to the fact that I have never skateboarded in the span of my life, I doubt that this would ever appeal to me.
I agree (with maybe less fancy words).
These aren't outfits, but I just wanted to ask if any of you had noticed that the new pet accessories had a definite theme, as the lovely collage points out.
What do you think about the new releases?

The New Outfits from American Girl: What We Think (Two)

Hi all!  American Girl has revealed new outfits, so it's time for Elizabeth and I to do a review!
You see, last time we did a post like this, (click here) it was one of our most popular posts, so Chrissa and I decided to do this every time American Girl releases new outfits.
Basically, a new series!  Okay, we'll start off with the historical outfits:
When I saw this, my first thought was "My cousin Kit would never wear this."  =)
I do like the dress, but not enough to buy the whole $64 set.
Interesting.
This is a nice set over all, but not exactly practical.
If I lived in Seattle or something, this raincoat would be very useful, but here in Florida I wouldn't wear it much.
This isn't really my style.

All the color is lovely, but, again, not really something I would wear.
I love how bright and colorful this is!  Pink, blue, green and yellow are a cute combination.
I would consider this an ensemble that is in the middle- I don't like it, but I don't dislike it.
What Elizabeth said.

EEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!  I WISH IS WAS HANGING IN MY CLOSET RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!
I don't love it as much as Chrissa does, of all the new outfits, it is my favorite.
That's what we think.  What about you?

(All opinions are our own.  We are in no way afflicted with American Girl.)

The New Outfits from American Girl: What We Think

Hello, lovely readers!  Chrissa and I are both doing this post.  I'm writing in pink (as you can see) and Chrissa's writing in green.
Hi all! I think these are totally adorbs! Especially the slippers.  The whole thing looks very comfy.
Normally, I prefer nightgowns, but these are very cute.  And they look well-made and comfortable.
I like this outfit.  The lace skirt is elegant, the sandals are very cute, and the top is sweet and sparkly.
It has a pink skirt.  (Need I say more?)
I personalty like this dress better than the Holiday Brocade Dress, because it's much more colorful.  But I wouldn't get it.
I don't like the bubble of the skirt, it's just rather puffy in my opinion.
I LOVE THIS!!!  It is SO CUTE!!! The boots, sweeter, headband (okay, maybe not the headband) pants, EVERYTHING!

Of all the new outfits, this is my favorite.  It's design, color, fabric are all very beautiful.
Too fancy for me.
That's what we think.
Which outfit do you like the best?
