Why We Haven't Been Posting

Hi all!  First of all, Elizabeth and I have not been posting because in order to have internet acess in your room, you have to pay fifteen dollers for three days.  Which we think is to much.  So how am I posting this? you ask.  Well, there is a business center on the 1st floor, and I have acess to that.  But there's no place to put in my SD card in the computer, so, unfortunately you can't see any of the hundreds of pictures Elizabeth and I have taken since we arrived in Yellowstone National Park on Sunday.  Hopefully, we will have pictures in the next post.

We're All Packed up and Ready to Go!

Well, Chrissa and I are completely done packing for our vacation near Yellowstone National Park.  We'll start driving tomorrow, and will be driving for the next two days.  So, we probably won't post again until we arrive in Yellowstone.  Really, I can't believe that our time in Colorado is done already!  It seems only last week that we came.

Afternoon with my Cousins

Hi all!  I have to pack to tomorrow (since we are leaving for Yellowstone on Sunday), so today I hung out with Kit and McKenna.
"Want to watch a movie?" McKenna asked.
"Sure! What about Brave?" I suggested.
"I'll bring up my DVD player." Kit said.  When Brave started, something was not right.
"Why on earth are they talking like that?!" I asked Kit.
"Oh, that's Piranha." Kit replied, as if it was perfectly normal for Scots to speak fish.
"KIT!" McKenna and I shouted.
When the strange movie ended, Elizabeth came up.
"How was your movie?" She asked.
"It was so weird!" I said.  "Kit programmed her DVD player so that all the movies played in Piranha!  The people were chomping half the time!"
"I'm tired." Kit yawned, as if to enforce her point.  "I'm going to my room."
"Do you want to play American Girls?" I suggested.
McKenna and Elizabeth agreed, so we did.
I had a nice afternoon with my strange (Kit) and sweet (McKenna) cousins.

Makeing Friendship Bracelets

This afternoon Chrissa, McKenna and I made Friendship bracelets.
We decided to do them outside because it was so nice.  Since you don't have to give friendship bracelets your full attention, it's fun to talk while making them.  And that's just what we did.
Here are our finished bracelets.
I chose the colors orange, light purple, white, and light pink.
Chrissa picked blue, white, light purple, and purple.
Bright pink, lime green, and aqua were McKenna's colors.
And that's how we spent our afternoon.

Along Old Fall River Road

Today was our last Saturday to go into Rock Mountain National Park, because next Saturday we would be packing.  Elizabeth and I chose to go on Old Fall River Road.  It's the original unpaved road up to the Alpine Visitors center.
Our first stop on the way up was Chasm Falls.
Check out the beautiful waterfall!
Here's me,
...And Elizabeth in front of the falls.
We climbed down the trail a bit and took our picture by the river.

Most of the time we were in the car, enjoying the view from the open window.  The weather was just gorgeous!  It was also nice to fell cold (we don't experience that much in Florida).

Snow!!!

On the way back down, we saw these elk grazing.  We had a lovely last Saturday in Rocky Mountain National Park.

P.S.Are you all excited to see the Saige movie? Elizabeth and I can't wait!

Extra Pictures from the Pool

Warning: lots of pictures. (17 to be exact.)
As I was browsing though our camera photos form our time with Liberty, I saw the many of the pictures from our swimming adventure were not featured on our blog.  So I decided to show them to you.
(Note: you may have seen a few of these photos before from Our Forth of July post)
First off, we have some individual pictures, starting off with lovely Chrissa.

Next, our sweet cousin, Liberty.

Finally, me.

Here are some photos of us together.

Chocolate Chip, Caramel, and Sugar.  Our dogs are friends too!
"See," Chrissa said, "all you have to do is put your arms and legs together like a torpedo and jump in!  Here, I'll show you."  And with that Chrissa jumped off the side and gracefully did a pencil dive into the water.
She surfaced, and started swimming toward the opposite side.
"You try, Libby!"
"Here I go." my cousin said nervously.  She dove in. She did it wonderfully.
"Superb job, Liberty!" I congratulated.
"Thanks!"
Caramel and Chocolate Chip went swimming with us.
When it was time to go, they left paw tracts everywhere!
I hope you enjoyed our pictures.
